Toronto international film festival, otherwise known as TIFF, is one of the most major events in the film industry. Celebrities all over the world come to Canada to premiere their films and to experience all the best movies directors all over the world have to offer.

Last year, Nollywood films were one of the most talked things on the festival, as everyone really appreciated the quality of the latest Nigerian movies and, moreover, Nigerian celebrities slammed it on the red carpet. Could Nigerian actors repeat their massive success this year? Let’s find out.

1. Omoni Oboli

This beautiful woman has many talents – she is a great actress, screenwriter, and director of such movies like The First Lady and Okafor’s Law. She finally got everyone to recognize her talent, as, after her first visit to the festival last year, she has become an ambassador for TIFF 2017. And she looks just great in front of the camera.

2. Kenneth Okolie

One of the biggest Nigerian movies that were presented on TIFF 2017 was The Royal Hibiscus Hotel, and almost whole cast and the crew was there to promote it. One of the most recognizable and eye-catching faces there was Kenneth Okolie, former Mr. Nigeria, and a very talented guy. His suede suit was unmatched in elegance and class, he really owned the evening.

3. Zainab Balogun

Other stars of this film looked stunning on the premiere, too. Zainab Balogun played one of the main roles in the movie, so it is no wonder that she played one of the most important roles in film’s promotion, too. She looks gorgeous in her light-pink well-fit dress.

4. Mo Abudu

Not only actors were the stars of the night, other guests of the festival have also been slamming the red carpet. For example, Mo Abudu, an executive producer of one of the films and well-known Nigerian media personality, have shown here a great sense of style with her slick dress with flower ornaments.

5. Toni Tones

Another media person that had no connection to the films, presented at the festival, yet still managed to impress with her look, was Toni Tones. Unlike the previously mentioned stars that treated the event as formal, Toni was wearing a bit riskier and more fun outfit that looked amazing.
