According to any Xiaomi phone review, the Redmi Note 5A Prime only has minor differences from the Redmi Note 5A – in general, the two devices share almost all of their specs, including screen size, performance features, camera, and battery.

However, there are still several big differences between the two models. First, depending on the location, your Redmi Note 5A Prime can come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Another major difference is the colour variety – this device is available in 5 elegant colours.

3. Xiaomi Redmi 5

The Redmi line of smartphones is adored for its sophisticated design, affordable price, and competitive performance, and the Redmi 5, released in late 2017, has already become one of the most popular phones from this lineup.

The Xiaomi Redmi 5, with its 5.7-inch screen, is even closer to being a phablet than a typical Xiaomi model. In addition to that, the Redmi 5 comes with a 1.8GHz processor, 2/3/4GB of RAM, 12MP and 5MP cameras, and a 3300mAh battery, which ensures decent autonomy for the owner.

4. Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus

Currently the Xiaomi latest phone, the Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus, also known as the Redmi Note 5, was released in February 2018. With a modern aluminium body with plastic accents and a 5.99-inch screen, it’s one of the largest phones Xiaomi has ever produced.

The inside of the device doesn’t disappoint either. The phone has a 2.0GHz processor, 3/4GB of RAM, 32/64GB of RAM, 12MP back camera with dual LED flash, 5MP front camera, and a 4000mAh battery to sustain that impressive screen size and performance.

5. Prices and availability

So, what is the Xiaomi phone price for every newly announced model and when exactly are they going to become available to the public?

The official release of the four new Xiaomi models in Nigeria is scheduled for March 15th, when the sale will finally launch. At the moment we know the price of only two models: the Xiaomi Redmi 5a Prime will retail for about 46,000, while the Redmi 5a will be sold for about ₦35,000.
