1. Who is Cee-C?
Cee-C, born under the name of Cynthia Nwadiora, came into prominence in 2018, when she was unveiled as the contestant of the Big Brother Naija Double Wahala edition. She went on to becoming the 1st runner up of that season.
Cynthia was born in Enugu State in 1993. Her family belonged to the upper working class. The future BBNaija contestant grew up in Lagos, where she first graduated from school and then obtained a degree in Law from the Nigerian Law School in 2014.
In her time at BBNaija, Cee-C became one of the most popular contestants with a large online following. Even though she didn’t win the 2018 season, she currently has close to 1.5 million followers on Instagram and enjoys numerous lucrative endorsements with famous Nigerian and international brands.
2. What is the CEGAR?
Cee-C is famously ambitious. She has never wanted to be just a reality show celebrity. She also identifies as a lawyer and influencer. Starting from this month, Cynthia can add a “Fashion CEO” title to her resume, as her first ever fashion line has just been released.
Unlike many other Nigerian celebrities, who release collections of casual and evening wear, Cynthia focused her fashion efforts on gym clothes and everything else needed to keep fit and lead a healthy lifestyle.
On her Instagram page, she explained that she has always had trouble finding high-quality and beautiful clothes for doing sports. Lagos is a huge city, but good gym clothes are nearly impossible to find. Cee-C’s collection CEGAR is designed to solve this problem once and for all.
In her emotional Instagram post dedicated to CEGAR launch, Cynthia thanked everyone who helped her get to where she is now. She revealed that she was close to giving up on the idea of her own athletic wear collection, but she couldn’t be happier that she eventually succeeded.
3. First look at the CEGAR collection
The CEGAR gym wear collection was launched in late February together with a dedicated online store. To date, many of the items in the store are already sold out, which means that the audience liked Cee-C’s designs.
The collection is broken up into several categories that contain everything a trendy Nigerian lady may need to keep fit. Some of the most interesting items from the CEGAR collection include:
