1. Infinix Note 7 and 7 Lite specs

The Note lineup of smartphones is one of the most popular creations by Infinix, so, naturally, there were a lot of expectations from the recently unveiled Infinix Note 7 and Infinix Note 7 Lite. Find out what both phones have in store for their buyers!

1. Design and display

The Infinix Note 7 and 7 Lite have a lot of visual differences and you wouldn’t necessarily instantly tell that they belong to the same release. The Note 7 features a 6.95-inch display with a 720x1640p resolution, while its cheaper cousin has a 6.6-inch display with the same resolution. Both phones have a hole-punch front camera mounted in the upper left corner of the display.

Both smartphones feature a fingerprint scanner that is located on the side of the device and are among the first budget mobile phones to feature a fingerprint scanner in that location. It’s also worth noting that both the Infinix Note 7 and Note 7 Lite look very appealing thanks to their design, but while the 7 Lite has a monochrome back panel available in several trendy colours, the Note 7 includes a gradient design of the back panel that looks different based on the viewing angle and makes the phone look more expensive than it actually is.

2. Performance

The Infinix Note 7 and Note 7 Lite share a lot of their performance characteristics, but there are also a few key differences. The main difference is that there is an option to choose between 4GB and 6GB of RAM when you’re shopping for the Infinix Note 7, you can only buy the Note 7 Lite with 4GB of RAM on board. Both phones feature the same octa-core MediaTek Helio G70 processor.

In terms of storage, you can find both 64GB and 128GB options in the market, which you can upgrade with the help of a microSD card. Both the Infinix Note 7 and 7 Lite come with Android 10.0 and XOS 6.0 on top of it, which was designed by Infinix themselves to enhance the Android performance on Infinix devices.

3. Camera and battery

When you look at the primary camera setup of the Infinix Note 7 and its more affordable sibling, you may get the idea that they are completely different. The Infinix Note 7 camera setup, which has an unusual round shape, features four shooters, while the Infinix Note 7 Lite features only 3 primary cameras. However, comparing the camera specs of the two smartphones reveals that they are not that different.

The Infinix Note 7’s primary camera consists of 48MP, 2MP, 2MP, and 2MP sensors, while the Note 7 Lite features 48MP, 2MP, 2MP, and QVGA cameras. In reality, the two phones produce nearly the same quality of photos and you wouldn’t notice much difference in them. However, there is a stark difference in the front camera department: the Infinix Note 7 has a 16MP selfie camera, while the Note 7 Lite’s front camera only has 8MP, and neither of the phones has a front LED flash.

The Infinix Note 7 and 7 Lite have an identical battery with a 5000mAh capacity. According to Infinix, the battery can last up to 4 days on a single charge, and while that heavily depends on the way you normally use your smartphone, the fast charging will allow you to enjoy even more autonomy with your new Infinix Note 7.

2. Infinix Note 7 and 7 Lite price in Nigeria

The two latest Infinix Note phones were announced last week and are expected to become available around Nigeria sometime later this month. The Infinix Note 7 will cost 78,000 or 89,500, depending on the amount of RAM you go for, while the Infinix Note 7 Lite will retail for 67,500.
