Apple iPad Mini 4
At the traditional September Apple presentation, the main novelties were iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus and iPad Pro and, of course – the iPad Mini 4.
Usually, “younger brother” mini attracts less attention, but not in this case! Also, in the segment of expensive compact tablets, many do not see an alternative to it.
Appearance
Despite all the fears, Apple iPad Mini 4 is made in a new case. The area of the front part remained almost unchanged, the style remained the same, but the thickness decreased from 7.5 to 6.1 mm. At the same time, the LTE version “lost” 34 g. Nice!
Battery has also taken an “effective diet”: its capacity declined from 23.8 W h to 19.1 W h. But the manufacturer assures that the novelty will be able to provide the same ten hours of working with multimedia tasks.
The screen also remained the same: 7.9 inches diagonal at a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. But hardware stuffing was significantly upgraded.
Stuffing
“The small one” got a A8 chip of second generation with 64-bit architecture. Its computational abilities regarding A7 increased by 1.3 times and graphics power increased at 60%!
The resolution of main camera increased from 5.0 to 8.0 Megapixels. The front camera has remained the same. Among other metamorphoses is the support of Wi-Fi 802.11 standard.

Surface Pro 4
Appearance
Surface Pro 4 became thinner (8,4 mm), lighter and more powerful than its predecessor Pro 3. Contrary to rumors, the novelty has not got a frameless design similar to the one Dell XPS 13 has, but kept its dimensions, even though diagonal of PixelSense display increased from 12” to 12,3”. The phone is protected with 0,4-mm Gorilla Glass 4 and has 2160 × 1440 pixels resolution.
The changes touched the Type Cover keyboard – it has become smaller and got a bigger touchpad surface that supports 5 simultaneous gestures and fingerprints scanner for Windows Hello authorization.
Stuffing
The hardware basis for Microsoft Surface Pro is Intel Skylake (the last generation today) (RAM can reach up to 16 GB).
Maximum memory of drive firmware is 1 Tb and wired interfaces are presented by 4 USB 3.0 ports and a couple of DisplayPort. Surface Pro 4 provides an updated Surface Pen, 1024-level pressure detection and Cortana voice assistant, which is launched by pressing and holding the button on the stylus.

The Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 has 8-inch screen with a resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels. Interesting choice made by manufacturer is a typical “Apple” ratio – 4:3. Matrix made in Super AMOLED technology displays 93% of RGB color palette.
Tab S2 8.0 has 8-core 64-bit Samsung Exynos 5433 chip that works at a frequency of 1.9 GHc. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has the same one: Mali-T760 MP6 graphic block power is enough for any game, and 3 Gb of RAM provide a multitask work.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 has 32 Gb of memory + 128 Gb can be added via microSD. Battery capacity is 4000 MAH, but the novelty can play video for 12 hours.
Resolution of the cameras is 8.0 and 2.1 Mp. Also, there is a fingerprint sensor. High-speed connection with an access point is provided by Wi-Fi 802.11 module.
