1. Itel P33 and P33 Plus specs
The Itel P33 and P33 Plus boast numerous improvements over the previous Itel models, but what exactly do the two phones have in store for their buyers? Let’s take a closer look at their specs.
1. Design and display
As a true budget device, the Itel P33 and P33 Plus comes in a plastic body. On the back of the phone, there is a dual camera and a fingerprint sensor. The P33 doesn’t pretend to be a bezel-less device, which is why there are noticeable bezels around all four sides and a selfie camera on top of the phone.
One of the biggest differences between the Itel P33 and P33 Plus is the screen size: the two phones have 5.5 and 6-inch displays respectively. The P33 Plus has a considerably higher resolution: 1440x720p versus the 960x480p of the Itel P33. Both phones will be available in three colours: Black, Blue and Gold.
2. Performance
The first thing to know about the Itel P33’s hardware and software specs is that you shouldn’t expect a mind-blowing performance from the new release. Instead, you will get a steady working device suitable for most daily tasks.
The Itel P33 is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6580 1.3GHz chipset that is paired to 1GB of RAM. There are 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded to 32GB with a microSD card. Surprisingly enough, the P33 Plus comes with absolutely identical specs.
Both the Itel P33 and P33 Plus seamlessly run Android 8.1 Oreo Go Edition, making the new Itel release one of the brand’s few devices to come with Android Go on board. The downside of both phones is the lack of 4G/LTE support.
3. Camera and battery
Both new Itel phones have a dual camera setup on the back. There is an 8MP and 5MP camera, as well as LED flash. On the front, you will find a 5MP selfie camera with no flash, although it is equipped with AI facial recognition technology.
The battery of the new devices is a big improvement over the previous models. The Itel P33 has a 4,000mAh battery, while the P33 Plus comes with a whopping 5,000mAh battery. However, neither phone supports fast charging.
2. Itel P33 and P33 Plus price in Nigeria
If you have already decided that the Itel P33 is exactly what you need, you can buy the device starting today, April 1. The Itel P33 will retail for ₦24,000, while its P33 Plus counterpart is slightly more expensive and costs ₦26,000.
