It is completely normal that people sell their old houses when they feel like there is not enough space for the big family. Beckham family has also come to the same conclusion putting their $30 million mansion on sale.
Though the Beckham property boasts of 9 bathrooms, a swimming pool, and numerous palm trees on the territory, the couple wants a bigger mansion so their sons could have their own soccer field for playing.
The house was put on the market over a year ago for as much as almost double its original price. The huge villa decorated in Italian style cost the couple $19 million in 2007. But the Beckhams want to swap it for much bigger manor with a garden big enough for their three sons, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz, to play soccer.
The couple was concerned for quite a while about the size of their house, calling it too small. Quoting Victoria and David’s words, “The garden is too small for football and the boys have to go round their friend’s houses – usually either Gordon Ramsey or Elton John – to have a kick-about. The private driveway is also relatively small. The house has been on the market for a long time and David and Victoria are actively looking for a bigger place.”
