1. Display and compact housing
Specially for LG G6 the company developed a 5.7-inch QHD + display (2880×1440/564 ppi) with a non-standard aspect ratio (18:9). In comparison with its predecessor, the dimensions of the device decreased (148.9×71.9×7.9 mm vs. 149.4×73.9×7.7 mm in LG G5).
Due to the proportions of the device (2:1) and UX 6.0, the manufacturer promises convenience when working in multitasking mode. LG G6 phone supports the technology of Dolby Vision and HDR10.
For the first time the case is one-piece, the manufacturer refused from hot swapping for the sake of moisture protection (IP68). The material of the case is aluminum. The front panel is protected by Gorilla Glass 3 while he back is covered with Gorilla Glass 5.
There is also a multifunction button (dactyloscopic scanner and power button), a dual camera and LED flash. There is a USB Type-C and speakers on the lower edge, keys to adjust the volume and a slot for SIM and microSD cards on the side edges. There is a 3.5 mm audio output at the top.

2. LG G6 specs
LG G6 will be equipped with a Snapdragon 821 processor, feature 4 GB of RAM, 32/64 GB ROM (depending on the version) and a slot for expanding the flash memory.
3. Camera
Like its predecessor, the new model is equipped with a dual camera with a resolution of 13 megapixels (each module). One of the lenses has a standard viewing angle (71°) and the aperture f/1.8, while the second is ultra wide (125°), f/2.4. Due to this, more objects can be captured without any loss of quality. Gorilla Glass 4 is used for protection against damage.
The front camera received a resolution of 5 MP (aperture f/2.2) and a viewing angle of 100°.
There is also phase autofocus, optical stabilization, and a huge number of shooting modes making the model quite a good camera phone.

4. Battery
When writing this LG G6 review we had to mention the safety of the battery since we all remember the sad experience of the Galaxy Note 7. LG paid particular attention to the security issue by expanding the test program.
