The MTV Video Music Awards show will host by Katy Perry. There will be such categories as Video of the Year, Best New Artist, and Best Collaboration. The categories Best Female Video and Best Male Video will form the category Artist of the Year!
1. 2017 MTV VMA: vote on Twitter!
Starting Friday (August 18), all fans can vote for the Best New Artist category right from their Twitter page. Sending a message to @MTV, fans not only place their vote but also show their choice with their followers.
Voting for the Best New Artist award, presented by MTV and Taco Bell, is open now until the Aug. 27 event, when the top two contenders will be announced during the live pre-show. From there, fans will go head-to-head with hashtag voting, until the winner is crowned during the main show.
