Omotola Jalade’s family
The story started back in 1996, when Omotola Jalade married a pilot Captain Matthew Ekeinde. They held a ceremony years later, only in 2001, but it was very original. The couple invited close friends and relatives and celebrated in the plane during their flight from Lagos to Benin.
The family story is close to a fairy-tail with a happy ending. Young Omo had to work hard when her father died to support the family. At the age of 15, she started a modeling career. Omotola’s mother was totally against it, neither liked she the idea of acting. However, she could not resist this, especially after the film director and all the crew came to ask for the permission for a young girl to join the cast. It happened in 1995, and in 1996 Omotola found the love of her life, with whom they live happily for 21 years.
Omotola and family are always ready to impress: the mother by her new films, the father by his support and always positive attitude, and children by their talents and persistence. By the way, they all believe that Omotola is the strictest parent in the planet! The actress once told that she does everything possible to bring up her children well. The also grew up under the strict control and wants the children to realise what really matters and what is valuable. Good news: Omotola did it well so far. The children are grown up and ready to make parents proud.
