The news of Meghan Markle going into labour was first reported by the Buckingham Palace in the early morning yesterday, on May 6. A couple of hours later, the ecstatic Prince Harry stood in front of the cameras to announce that Meghan has given birth to their first baby.
The Prince clearly couldn’t contain his excitement. He was constantly smiling and was in a generally very positive mood. Harry was by Meghan’s side as she gave birth to their child. The baby was announced to be a boy and weighed about 3,3 kilograms at birth. Both the baby and the mother are said to feel great.
As Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are famously private, there will be no greeting the press and fans at the exit of the hospital, like Kate Middleton did with her three births. Instead, Meghan and Harry will enjoy their first few days as parents in private without making any announcements.

However, the home birth has not been confirmed yet, and there is a possibility that Meghan gave birth at a hospital instead of her own home.
