1. Keyboard

As the most of the Blackberry phones, KeyOne is equipped with the famous Blackberry keyboard. It might seem redundant for the smartphone, especially considering the touchscreen the phone has above the keyboard, but wait till you try it. The keyboard is really ergonomic, it provides a sometimes much needed feedback you won’t get from the touchscreen. Furthermore, you can use it to swipe between pages by lightly touching it.

The space button of the keyboard is equipped with a fingerprint scanner, which is an absolutely new feature for Blackberry phones. It is amazing how they were able to minimize the size of the technology to such a small space.

2. Design

The original Blackberry QWERTY keyboard definitely makes the phone look original and unique. Overall, the phone sticks to the elegant, yet simple and practical design, which will be familiar to the company’s fans, but with slight futuristic vibes. In addition to the keyboard, this model is equipped with three capacitive function keys above it.

The back surface is soft-touched and dimpled, which makes the grip very pleasant and comfortable. The sides are aluminum, with a power button on the left side and volume button on the right. There is also an additional key under the volume button, which you can set to launch an app or action of your choice.

3. Specs

Blackberry KeyOne specs are not premium-class, but are enough for a great performance. It runs on the newest Android 7 Nougat and it is powered by Snapdragon 625 – 2.0 GHz processing unit. The phone also has 3 Gb of RAM and 32 Gb of internal memory, which can be extended with microSD up to 256 Gb. For a business phone, the model is equipped with a decent 12 megapixels rear and 8 megapixels front cameras (apparently, business men love selfies too :). 3350 mAh battery with fast charging will allow you to always be available.

4. Release date and price

Blackberry KeyOne release date is set somewhere is April, so you won’t have to wait for too long to try it out. Blackberry KeyOne price in Nigeria is not set firmly yet, but it is expected to be from ₦195,000 to ₦300,000. You can absolutely get a better Android phone for this money, but if you’re a fan of Blackberry or you’re excited about physical keyboard on the Android phone, then this is absolutely a right choice for you.
