This plug-in hybrid will pack a 2.0-litre petrol engine working with an electric engine having a total power output of 249 bhp. However, the CO2 emissions will be about 60 g/km.

3. Honda Civic Type R
Price: From about $42,000
Start of sale: Now
Civic Type R is based on Mk10 family car and it preserves the 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo engine with an increased power of up to 316 bhp.
It has front-wheel drive and a six-speed manual box, the same as the older model. The new model may be a little faster in accelerating to 100 km that took the previous model about 5.7 seconds.
The model also features Comfort driving mode now. The cabin and the steering wheel have also been redesigned, and the new infotainment system and center console have been added.

5. Kia Stinger

Stinger is a much-awaited four-door coupe equipped with a 3.3-litre twin-turbo petrol V6. It has 365 bhp and 510 Nm of torque.
Other options include the 197 bhp 2.2-litre four-cylinder diesel and a 252 bhp 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol; rear or all-wheel drive. All the variants will pack an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
