1. The winners
As always, Grammy Awards celebrated the biggest achievements both from established and up-and-coming artists. Sadly, Burna Boy, who was nominated in the Best World Music Album with his African Giant record did not win the awards and lost to Angelique Kidjo and her album Celia. Angelique then dedicated her award to Burna Boy and a new generation of African music artists who are going to take the world’s music industry by storm.

The biggest winner of Grammy Awards 2020 was definitely Billie Eilish, who was nominated for six awards and took home three of the most prestigious one: Best New Artist, Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and Album of the Year. When the nominees for the 2020 Grammys were announced, Lizzo scored the biggest number of nominations. However, the singer only won three awards, including Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Urban Contemporary Album.

Lil Nas X was another major winner of the night, celebrating two victories in the Best Music Video and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. Other winners of the 2020 Grammys include The Chemical Brothers, Gary Clark Jr., Anderson .Paak, Nipsey Hussle, and Tyler, The Creator.
2. Red carpet
Every year, Grammy Awards celebrate not only music, but also fashion. For the past years, Grammys brought us some of the most iconic looks in the history of the awards. This year was no exception and there was plenty of stunning fashion to admire at the 2020 Grammy Awards.
Lizzo went for the classic Hollywood chic with her sleek hairstyle, a form-fitting white dress, and some very elegant jewelry.
Over the years, Common transformed into one of the best-dressed male celebrities, and his red carpet look for the 2020 Grammy Awards did not disappoint either – this monochrome look is surely stylish!
DJ Khaled sported an equally handsome look, but people praised his red carpet appearance not only for his fashion choices, but also for the T-shirt dedicated to Kobe Bryant, who was tragically killed in a helicopter crash prior to the ceremony.
Usher went for a more casual Grammy Awards look, complete with comfy velvet loafers and, perhaps, the sparkliest jacket of the night.
The big winner of the night, Billie Eilish, stayed true to her aesthetic and her favourite colours, although the face accessory is certainly both new and eye-catching.
Lil Nas X is another red carpet star who stuck to the style he already showcased many times before. However, this hot pink suit, complete with matching shoes and hat, definitely stood out from other men’s looks.
Gucci Mane and Keyshia Ka’Oir wore all-black outfits for their Grammy Awards appearance, but their look was far from boring and was one of the most elegant ones of the night.
Ariana Grande’s choice of an outfit was certainly surprising to may fans: her dove grey dress featured numerous layers of tulle and made the singer look like a fairytale princess.
3. What else you’ve missed
The 2020 Grammys featured several performances, but some of them stood out from the rest. Alicia Keys, the host of the evening, invited Boyz II Men for a joint performance dedicated to Kobe Bryant, who died just hours before the ceremony started.
