Tecno Spark is a family of smartphones that offers competitive functionality and eye-catching design for a budget-friendly price. So what exactly does the Tecno Spark 6 Go have in store for its buyers? Here is what you’ll get with the new Tecno Spark phone.
1. Design and display
The Tecno Spark 6 Go is equipped with a 6.52-inch IPS LCD display. It has a resolution of 720x1600p and an around 80% screen to body ratio. Those display specs surely don’t promise a mind-blowing experience with videos or gaming, but it will ensure a smooth user experience with most everyday tasks.

The design of the Tecno Spark 6 Go is pretty much what you expect from a device in this price range. The body of the new phone is made of high-quality plastic with a gradient colour accent on the back. There is a drop notch in the centre of the display where you will find the selfie camera, and the fingerprint scanner is located in the upper part of the display. The Spark 6 Go is available in three colour options: Mystery White, Aqua Blue, and Ice Jadeite.

You probably don’t expect lightning-fast performance from an entry-level smartphone, but the Tecno Spark 6 Go’s performance specs are actually rather competitive. The device is powered by 1.8GHz Mediatek Helio A20 processor that is paired with 2GB of RAM, although there are versions of the Spark 6 Go with 3 and 4GB of RAM. There are 32GB of built-in storage that you can upgrade with a microSD card.

From the software point of view, the Tecno Spark 6 Go runs the Android Go version of Android 10. Using the Go version instead of the regular Android 10 OS allows the phone to deliver quick performance despite its entry-level specs, although this is certainly not a phone to use for multitasking or for running the latest performance-hungry games.

Like most phones released this year, the Tecno Spark 6 Go has a multi-camera setup on the back. The 13MP dual rear camera features AI technology and a dual LED flash to deliver the highest quality of photos even in low-lighting situations. The front camera has 8MP, facial algorithms for stunning selfies, and even a tiny front flash that will light up your selfies like never before.

To support all of these specs, Tecno added a 5000mAh battery to the Spark 6 Go. The battery comes with an intelligent power-saving feature that will allow you to go longer on a single charge. The device promises 36 hours on standby, 25 hours of video, and over 15 hours of gaming after it’s fully charged.
