It’s been a little over a week since the new season of Big Brother Naija premiered, and TV fans already can’t stop talking about some of the contestants. This year, we were introduced to some of the most outstanding characters and personalities since the beginning of the show. Meet the 21 BBN 2019 contestants right now!

1. Avala
Avala is an Ogun State native and a single mom. Moreover, she is an aspiring singer who studied at a college in Queens, New York. She hopes that her time in Big Brother will help project her into stardom and make her an accomplished performer.

2. Diane
Before becoming part of the fourth season of BBN, Diane studied at the Hungarian University of Debrecen, which helped her shape into the person she is today. Despite being a model and an aspiring cook, Diane actually has a very easy-going and laid back attitude towards life.
3. Ella
If you are a fan of competitive reality shows, you may have already seen Ella – also known as Victoria, this girl was a runner up in a singing show. In addition to her singing talent, she also enjoys being a TV presenter and actress, not to mention her numerous hobbies.
4. Esther
Esther is, perhaps, the most ambitious Big Brother 2019 housemate: at just 22 years old, she is already a successful lawyer. She is fiercely competitive. Moreover, she is very proud of her figure and is not afraid to show off her curves.
5. Frodd
At 28 years old, Frodd has already accomplished a lot – namely, built a brilliant career as an investment advisor and even helped pay for his mother’s expensive surgery. He believes that the Big Brother Naija experience will be one of the highest points of his life.
6. Gedoni
Gedoni is a multi-talented personality. The 31-year old listed his occupation as a Fashion Entrepreneur, but his talents stretch way beyond that, as he also dabbles in art and drawing. His hobbies are equally diverse – they even include cleaning the house!
7. Ike
Ike is just 26 years old, but he is determined to make it big in life. He already had the experience of losing his successful business, but this only made his character stronger. Today, Ike divides his time between Nigeria and the US, but he made sure to make the time for BBN.
8. Isilomo
Isilomo is a 27-year old HR manager, and since this job can get quite stressful, it’s important to know how to wind down after a hard day of work. For Isilomo, it includes enjoying the great outdoors, doing sports, cooking and eating food, and all things music.
9. Jackye
Jackye is a mysterious character: when you look at this bright-eyed 23-year old, you would never imagine she is a successful software engineer with a winning fintech app under her belt. Her hobbies are equally unconventional and include football and video games.
10. Jeff
Interestingly enough, fintech is also the primary interest of our next contestant, Jeff. Jeff is currently a 30-year old banker, but when asked what he would do with the BBN 2019 prize, he said he would use it to fund his fintech startup.
11. Khafi
Khafi is a police officer who currently resides in London. To her, Big Brother Naija is more about personal exposure or financial gain – she believes that she can do greater things after she gets to reach out to a wider audience.

12. Kim-Oprah
Kim-Oprah is obviously a beautiful lady, which is why she has been a contestant at several beauty pageants. However, Kim is also a business owner who hopes to spend her BBN 2019 prize money on further education in business management.
13. Mercy
Mercy is also an accomplished businesswoman who is based in Lagos. She enrolled in the Big Brother Naija to gain exposure for promoting her business. In her free time, Mercy enjoys cooking, making music, and dancing.
14. Mike
Mike is a successful entrepreneur who owns a line of cigars in the UK. Moreover, Mike is a great athlete and was even going to compete for Nigeria in the Commonwealth Games. He is happily married and very ambitious and determined.
15. Nelson
Nelson is mostly known for winning the Mr Universe Nigeria 2018, but this man has many more talents besides his looks. He loves working out, cooking, and drawing. Plus, Nelson is a model and a consultant.
16. Omashola
Omashola moved from Delta State to Lagos to pursue his dreams of becoming a model and entrepreneur. Despite all of his success and amazing personality, Omashola was recently turned down when he proposed to his girlfriend, but he doesn’t let this minor setback get the best of him.
17. Seyi
Seyi has had a tumultuous life, but now he is ready to leave his troubles behind and commit to being a great boyfriend and citizen. Seyi is proud of his religious beliefs and how far he’s come in his self-acceptance journey.
18. Sir Dee
Sir Dee is a Kaduna State native, a banker by day and graphic designer in his free time. Sir Dee is in a happy relationship, but he is excited about forming new relationships on BBN 2019.
19. Tacha
Tacha had a lifelong dream of becoming a Big Brother Naija contestant, so being picked up for this season was the best moment of her life. Her worst was losing her mom, but Tacha managed to persevere and become stronger through the experience.
20. Thelma
Thelma is a hair and beauty practitioner, which you can tell by her flawless look. She is also in a relationship, but would quit BBN if she had to get married or got pregnant.
21. Tuoyo
Things didn’t always work out for Tuoyo the way he wanted them to, but he never gave up. Today, Tuoyo is a psychotherapist and fitness coach who is currently single.
