“Singing fountain” in Dubai is a spectacular show, truly fantastic creation of architects and engineers, an enchanting spectacle of light, sound and water that makes everyone’s heart beat three times faster.
The height of the fountains reaches 150 meters – it is a 50-floor level – and this is just one-fifth of the height of famous Burj Khalif Tower. Dance of the water can be seen from any point of the lake shore and nearby neighborhoods. Night illumination of the show is provided by 50 colored projectors and 6000 lamps.

Delicious Cuisine: Yummy Dudai
Traditionally, the meal begins with Meze – light snacks served on a huge platter: salads of vegetables, eggplant caviar (mutabbal, babaganoush), patty with cheese or meat, paste from nuts and garlic, corn and wheat porridges.
Then you are welcome to choose:
- “Briki” – a dish of seafood, fried in the subtlest puff pastry;
- “Makbus” – fried lamb with rice flavored with various piquant spices;
- “Biryani” – small pieces of meat in rice; sometimes a dish is cooked with fish or shrimps. Due to different combinations of ingredients and spices a dish is always special.
Gourmets should visit restaurants Al Qasr, Antique Bazaar and Seafood Market.
Prices are reasonable and the dishes are qualitatively cooked and fabulously decorated. Hot dish will cost you about 50 dirhams, snacks – 20-30 dirhams. Alcoholic beverages will cost you more than 70 dirhams.

Outstanding shopping: I`ll take it all!!
Who ususaly goes to UAE? It’s either wealthy people, who have an opportunity to come here two times a year, or shoppers – for them the direction was opened about 10 years ago.
The liveliest shopping streets of the city are Al-Fahejdi, Al-Rigga, Al Karama, Al-Dijâfa and Benijâs square. Most of the major malls are concentrated in the centre and on the quays.
Attention: always ask for a discount, even if it is written “fixed price” there: the price may drop significantly. Especially if you pay in cash!
You should visit:
- Mall of the Emirates (more than 400 shops, attractions, cinemas and ski resort “Ski Dubai”);
- Dubai Duty Free (perfumery, cosmetics, tobacco and alcohol, printed materials, clothing, shoes, accessories, goods for children);
- Dubai Outlet Mall (such brands as “Massino Dutti”, “Jil Sander”, “Elie Tahari”, “Anne Valerie Hash”, “Noyomi” and others (more than 240);
- Wafi City Moll(more than 200 boutiques, jewellery shops, Entertainment Center);
- Ibn Battuta Mall (shoes, clothing, electronics, appliances, home ware; restaurants, cafes, cinemas, theme zones);
- Mercato Shopping Mall (a variety of shops with clothing, cosmetics, jewelry, appliances and home furnishings).
