Materials:
– scissors;
– plastic bottles of different colors;
– polyfoam;
– glue;
– wooden bar;
– wire mesh;
– metal rod.
Cut out a lot of feathers from colored plastic bottles.
Feathers should be into different sizes.
Sort by size and shape blanks for breast and tail.
Don’t forget about small feathers.
Take a piece of polyfoam, cut out the pieces and glue peacock torso, neck and head. It would be better, if you will have a picture of real peafowl to make your mold more realistic.
The body must be secured on a metal rod, which had previously recommended to insert into a wooden bar.
Take the red bottle and cut a circle out of it. Then make one incision from the edge to the center and twist into a cone. Fix the beak on the foam.
Then you can paste pre-prepared feathers. Start from the bottom, with the note that the bottom feathers longer, and the top should be short. Overlap when glue them. When you’re done with the breast, move on to the back. To make the crest, you need to cut strips from the bottle and glue colored feathers.
Make the eyes.
For making the wings use wire mesh to attach feathers.
