Easter 2019 may have come and gone but the experience lingers on; as always memorable! There was an amazing lineup of events for everyone to take advantage of. Regardless of what your taste for events and the social circles you prefer to find yourself in, there was something for everyone! The Nigerian Easter culture is one in which you will be doing yourself a great disservice if you spend it indoors and it seems everybody was out in their numbers this Easter holiday to have fun. GIDIFEST 2019
Gidifest 2019 had one of the coolest lineups this Easter! The performers included Joey B (Ghana), Moonchild Sanelly (South Africa), Ckay, Teni, Zlatan, Niniola, DJ Xclusive, Sarz, Wande Coal, Patoranking, Sir Shina Peters and a whole lot more! It was held at the Landmark Event Center and had been touted to be the best of all previous four editions of Gidifest. What’s not to love? Sand, Sea and a Stage where the biggest musicians and DJs more than held their own! Watch the video below to see what went down!

LOUD BEACH FESTIVAL
The loud beach festival probably had the best lineup of all the festivals that took place this Easter. For its first installment, it really impressed and set the bar for beach concerts in Nigeria going forward. Kranium, Tiwa Savage, Teni, Adekunle Gold, Reekado Bankz, Mayorkun, Perruzi, Lil Kesh, Zlatan Ibile and a host of others graced the stage and gave attendees an experience of a lifetime.

EASTER FOOD AND GAMES FETE
Easter food and games fete was an event centered around bringing families and friends together to enjoy various cuisines and games and as far as objectives are concerned it was a case of mission complete! Hosted by Ehiz of MTV Base, people came out in their numbers to enjoy a picnic like Easter celebration. This was a step away from the usual beach destination that most NIgerians are accustomed to. There was something to interest everyone; food, paintball, music, bubble ball and more!

Ace comedian Gbenga Adeyinka The 1st presented Laff Mattazz – Gbe Body E in the city of Ibadan and the choice of theme and city all coordinated to give a truly remarkable event. What can you expect from a lineup of artists that includes Terry G and Small Doctor? You expect unadulterated indigenous fun! If Ibadan needed a hint of how festive Lagos gets during the holidays, there was no better show to provide them with a preview than Laff Mattaz!

Homecoming 2019 was a four-day event that lasted from April 19, 2019 till April 22, 2019. Asides performances from La Meme Gang (Ghana), Fireboy DML, Moonchild Sanelly (South Africa), Sho Madjozi (South Africa), Naira Marley, Niniola, Rema, Tems, Simi, Prettyboy D-O, Santi, Odunsi The Engine, RunTown, DRB Lasgidi, Ajebutter22, Skepta, Poco Lee and Teni, there was also a special guest appearance by American socialite Jordyn Woods.
