What is the Vogue Challenge?
Unlike other popular internet challenges of 2020, which were born out of boredom or by accident, the Vogue Challenge is the reflection of the most recent developments in the society. After the death of George Floyd in the US and the subsequent Black Lives Matter protests, black models, photographers, designers, directors, writers, and bloggers have started complaining of the limited opportunities for people of colour in the mainstream media. As a result, the #VogueChallenge, where black creators showcase their talents and imagine new, inclusive magazine covers, was launched. Here are the most noteworthy Vogue Challenge posts from last week.
