To such conclusions scientists came after a study carried out with the participation of 2 thousand women. 39% said it affects their self-confidence.
The most popular places to look at herself refers the glass of the car, the phone’s screen, shop windows. 4 of 10 ladies think that they look better or worse depending on the mirror. 
Most of the women stated that they do not like their reflection in the ladies’ room at the workplace. Some psychologists believe that one of the reasons of frequently looking at herself in the mirror is narcissism and vanity.
Another reason is more natural in the long-term presence on the road: a quick glance to verify that everything is in order. It turned out that business women are more likely to look in the mirror, because it is important to look well-groomed and presentable.
Men often complain that women are preparing for a long time before appearance anywhere, especially before date. The researchers decided to find out how much time average girl actually spend on something to tidy herself.
A survey conducted by specialists of the cosmetics company Skinbliss among thousands of women, showed that on average over the entire life of the fair sex spend 3276 hours, or 136 days, by makeup, hair and clothing choices. Men spend to bring himself up to 3 times less – a total of 45 days over a lifetime.
The survey also showed that 67% of women think that it is normal routine. Only a third of the ladies admitted that sprucing up gives them pleasure. Women tend to spend an hour, basking in the shower and doing her hair, and then they devote 20 minutes and make up for at least 15 minutes to paint the nails.
Obsessing of how do they look arises from the early period of humanity.
