Virtual-real races: it DRIVES me crazy!
Unusual race, simultaneously taking place in reality and in the virtual space, attracted millions of viewers thanks to the development of two professional drivers and participants of races – drifter Matt Powers and stuntman Ben Collins (who participated in the television show Top Gear a few years ago, in the role of an unknown pilot Stig).
Two pilots competed on Ford Mustang sport cars fitted with eight cylinder engines.
Races were held at a specially prepared track in Los Angeles. The riders wore helmets with the technology of virtual reality and pooled their races in one computer race. The road on the screen in general, repeated physical road, but there were additional “dangers” like falling from the sky stones, cliffs, geysers, scrap yards, etc.
“We have reached the absolute limit, and it is surprising that the brain could handle it,” commented the dual race Ben Collins. By the way, he triumphed in a contest.

Geocaching with teleportation: I’ll be back before you know it
In 2009 year, specialists from the Quantum Physics Institute of the University of Maryland were able to conduct quantum teleportation of the atom at a distance of 1 meter, since then they continue their research in this area.
You can now imagine how these discoveries can affect sports!
For example, just imagine what it will be like to participate in competition on geocaching, when technologies of teleportation will be publicly available!
Golf field will be the entire Earth! Caches can be arranged in the rainforests of Brazil, in the Grand Canyon, on the streets of Beijing and in the Siberian taiga.
However, other players will detect them using GPS teleporting in one or another area.

Drones` races: Game of Drones
These races were meant to appear once the sky got acquainted to the first drones. Leagues contests will be held on February 22 this year in Miami. This will be the first competition in history!
Speed of devices will reach 129 km/h. Track promises to be varied, and includes abandoned buildings and subways. In this case, the drones are equipped with cameras attached to the helmets of their pilots.
Thus, people will be a “part” of extreme racing in some sense.
In the further plans of the League is an organization of the World Championship!
Drone racing: First-person view (FPV)
At an abandoned warehouse in Melbourne’s west, about 30 drone racers have spent hours custom building their multi-rotor machines and fitting them with onboard cameras. Known as FPV racing – or first-person view – the racers use special goggles, some held together with gaffer tape, giving them a drone’s-eye view.

Hoverboard riding: barely touching the ground
Hoverboard is a board that represents a flying skateboard, which has two “antinavigators” instead of wheels.
Device from the movies “Back to the future-2” and “Back to the future-3”, which can soar at an altitude of about seven centimeters above the ground, became the thing that everybody wants to have.
In recent years, fans have a hope that if the film describes the year 2015, the board will be on sale very soon. And indeed, scientists work on hoverboards very hard.
Professional skateboarder Tony Hawk has already had his first freestyle in the air:

Flights in an enclosed space: f**k gravity!
Bodyflight is not a future, it`s a reality.
During this performance, which is similar to figure skating, parachuting and swimming, participants for some time have to commit a certain number of maneuvers in a wind tunnel. The athletes can act in a single program, and in a team of up to four people.
Firstly, free flyer’s dances were shown at the Olympic Games 2006 year in Turin. The upward flow of air in such a pipe reaches the speed of 270 km/h. It can tear an adult human from the ground with the power of up to 130 km/h.
In January this year video of Russian athlete Leonid Volkov dancing at the World Championships in a wind tunnel (Windgames 2016) in Spain gained crazy popularity on YouTube.
