The sixth season of BBN, which will air later this year, has just announced the start of its auditions process for the 2021 instalment. 1. Who can apply for season 6 of BBN?
Like every year before, in 2021, the organizers of Big Brother Naija have a list of requirements for potential applicants. You can only apply for BBN if you meet the following criteria:

- You have Nigerian citizenship.
- You need to be 21 years old or older by June 2021.
- You can provide a valid ID.
- You have a minimum of an O level education.
- You need to be mentally and emotionally prepared to spend 90 days in a closed space with no contact with the outside world.
2. When do the auditions begin?
This year, there will be two auditions held for those who want to take part in the Big Brother Naija Season 6. The second part of the auditions process will take place some time in late May and the date will be announced separately. However, this year, the BBN organizers introduced an early access to the auditions. This stage of the process will run from March 24 to March 31 2021, so you still have a couple of days left to participate.

Early auditions are only open to those who renew their TV subscription during the specified time period. Here are the steps you need to take if you want to apply:
- Renew your DStv, GOtv, Compact, Yanga, Confam, or Jolli subscription.
- Send an email to [email protected] with your IUC or smartcard number. You will get a reply with an audition link.
- Fill out the registration form and include a 2-minute video on why you need to be Nigeria’s next Big Brother contestant. Remember that you will compete against thousands of young and creative hopefuls, so make sure to stand out and impress the people responsible for the auditions.

3. What is this year’s prize?
On Big Brother Naija, the stakes are getting higher every year. The first-ever BBN winner went home with just ₦100,000, while last season, the prize fund was ₦85 million. This year, the ante has been upped. Together with the early auditions announcements, the official account of Big Brother Naija on Twitter revealed that the winner of Season 6 will take home ₦90 million in prizes. So even if you didn’t seriously consider auditioning for this year’s season of Big Brother Naija, you may have to reconsider!
